<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A woman who admitted to playing a part in the abduction, assault and attempted murder of another woman over a stolen iPhone was paroled by a county judge earlier this week.</p><p>Chloe Amelia Isaacs, 23, of Wilkes-Barre, was sentenced to one to 23 months in prison followed by one year probation on false imprisonment, simple assault and related charges at a hearing Monday before Luzerne County Judge David W. Lupas, who ordered Isaacs&#8217; immediate parole for 230 days time served. Records show she&#8217;d been jailed in Monroe County since March 2016.</p><p>Prosecutors said the hearing, originally scheduled for today, was moved to accommodate a scheduling conflict.</p><p>Isaacs was one of three people accused in the tale of torture and attempted murder that grabbed headlines for its violent details and seemingly trivial motive.</p><p>According to prosecutors, Isaacs, Nygee Jamal Taylor and Jerone Andre Moore abducted Dayna Williams from her Pittston residence on Oct. 5, 2014, and brought her to Isaacs&#8217; North Hancock Street home to make her answer for an iPhone they believed she&#8217;d stolen during a party there the night before.</p><p>Isaacs and Taylor shared the phone and could ill-afford to lose it because it held evidence that incriminated them as drug dealers, prosecutors said.</p><p>Williams, 24, testified at Moore&#8217;s trial last month that she was stripped naked, beaten, burned with cigarettes, and sealed for hours inside a barrel before Moore and Taylor took her to a secluded part of Bear Creek Township after dark.</p><p>She said she was asked whether she had any last words before Moore ran a knife across her throat and left her for dead.</p><p>Naked and covered in blood that poured from the 3-inch-deep gash on her neck, Williams staggered through the darkness to a nearby home, where the owner called 911, she said.</p><p>Williams took the witness stand with a visible scar along her neck and identified Moore as the man caused it, but was otherwise absent from the rest of Moore&#8217;s trial as well as Isaacs&#8217; sentencing. Prosecutors had attributed her absence at trial to the &#8220;nightmare&#8221; she relived on the stand.</p><p>Moore, 33, was the only defendant charged in the matter to take his case to trial. A county jury <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/news/637602/closings-heard-in-jerone-andre-moore-throat-slashing-case" target="_blank">convicted him of attempted murder of the first-degree Feb. 24</a>. He faces up to 60 years in prison at sentencing next month.</p><p>After the verdict, Moore apologized for what happened to Williams but said jurors &#8220;convicted the wrong person.&#8221;</p><p>Taylor, 27, <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/news/635134/suspect-in-abduction-throat-slashing-admits-to-conspiracy-to-commit-murder" target="_blank">admitted to conspiracy to commit first-degree murder Feb. 16</a> and was sentenced to 9&#189; to 19 years in state prison.</p><p>Isaacs, who <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/news/local/564251/woman-accused-of-kidnapping-assault-pleads-guilty-to-charges" target="_blank">pleaded guilty to her role in the case</a> in July, also took the stand for the commonwealth during Moore&#8217;s trial and identified Moore as Williams&#8217; attacker. Her testimony helped strengthen the case, prosecutor Mamie Phillips said.</p><p>&#8220;Although what happened to Dayna Williams in the apartment on North Hancock Street was horrifying and could not be undone, Chloe Isaacs made her best effort to come forward and right the wrongs she committed during the course of the attack on the victim,&#8221; Phillips said.</p><p><ins>For other local crime stories, <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/crime" target="_blank">click here</a>.</ins></p><style>
