FORTY FORT - The Forty Fort U.M. Church Nursery School registration has started for the 2017-2018 school year.An open house will be held 7-8 p.m., April 19, which is open to parents, their children and the general public. Interested parents can schedule an individual appointment to observe the classes and meet the teachers.Classes are open for 3- and 4- year old children from the community-at-large. The school&#8217;s primary purpose is to prepare children for kindergarten, but other expanded programs and activities are offered. They include fire safety, using 911 for emergency help and yearly eye-exams are conducted, which have detected many early correctable vision problems.The school has been in existence for over 46 years, and was the recipient of a prestigious 2015 citation from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as an Honored Teaching Facility.Call the school or church office, 570-287-3849, for registration forms and more information.
