<p>With an extensive track record for linking the right person with the perfect home, Lewith and Freeman is no stranger to accolades.</p><p>It added one more to its mantel in 2017.</p><p>Headquartered in Kingston, the nearly century-old real estate agency has a local footprint that dates back to 1921, when it was founded by Edward L. Lewith and Martin Freeman. The firm has since ballooned into the largest real estate company in Luzerne County, with a half dozen offices and nearly $200 million in transactions each year, according to the agency.</p><p>Virginia Rose, president of the firm since 2007, said the sales and service teams were elated to learn they&#8217;d been named the best real estate agency in the Times Leader&#8217;s annual Readers&#8217; Choice Awards for a second straight year.</p><p>Rose is privileged, she said, to work alongside industry professionals that serve the buyers and sellers in the region.</p><p>&#8220;Our Realtors value the opportunity to assist the residences and business owners of NEPA with their home and commercial real estate needs,&#8221; she said. &#8220;We garner great pride in knowing a job well done means individuals, families or companies achieve their dream of home ownership or business advancement.&#8221;</p><p>More than 100 Realtors serve customers from offices in Kingston, Shavertown, Mountain Top, Wilkes-Barre and Hazle Township. The company expanded into Lackawanna County in 2013 when it opened the doors to a Clarks Summit office.</p><p>According to Lewith and Freeman, their Realtors comprise the highest percentage of real estate professionals exceeding $1 million in sales volume in the area. The top producers achieve between $2.5 and $8.2 million, they say.</p><p>The agency boasts an interactive website where interested buyers can browse properties broken down by geographical area. A &#8220;homefinder&#8221; feature helps point out daily open houses. And if pictures aren&#8217;t enough, virtual tours that lend a closer look are available via a YouTube channel.</p><p>Lewith and Freeman doesn&#8217;t just serve buyers.
