<p>A person who bought a vehicle at Coccia Ford Lincoln in 1992 might just be dealing with the same people when buying a vehicle there in 2017.</p><p>&#8220;If you look at our staff from 25 years ago, you&#8217;ll find almost everyone is still here,&#8221; Coccia general manager Greg Martin said. &#8220;There&#8217;s been very little turnover here. That&#8217;s something customers appreciate. Every time they come in, they recognize the people who are here. And that&#8217;s very unusual in this business.&#8221;</p><p>Unusual and appreciated.</p><p>Wyoming Valley residents have made that clear by repeatedly voting Coccia atop the best truck dealer category in the Times Leader Readers&#8217; Choice Awards. The dealership &#8212; located at the junction of Route 315 and East Main Street in Plains Township &#8212; is a platinum winner, having now earned the title three times.</p><p>Martin himself has been at Coccia for over 25 years and has worked in the automotive business for 35-plus.</p><p>That consistency and familiarity with the area has led to success.</p><p>&#8220;The majority of our customers are repeat customers,&#8221; Martin said.</p><p>And how.</p><p>&#8220;Oh yeah,&#8221; Martin said. &#8220;I&#8217;ve had people who&#8217;ve bought maybe 20 vehicles from us. We place a lot of emphasis on customer satisfaction.&#8221;</p><p>That&#8217;s also backed up by Coccia earning 12 President&#8217;s Awards, a national honor given to the top dealerships in customer service via survey responses.</p><p>Coccia won for both Ford and Lincoln in 2016.</p><p>&#8220;I think it&#8217;s just being honest with people and following up if there&#8217;s ever an issue,&#8221; Martin said. &#8220;We&#8217;re honest with them, and we&#8217;re responsive to their questions and their needs.&#8221;</p><p>For 2016, Martin said there was a trend of improved sales for smaller SUVs like the Escape. When it comes to trucks, Ford&#8217;s F-Series &#8212; particularly the F-150 &#8212; remains the nation&#8217;s top seller.</p><p>Originally located in Luzerne, Coccia has been at its current site for two decades now. The family-owned business has been a well-known name in the area for much of that time.</p><p>And the awards keep coming.</p><p>&#8220;We&#8217;re very happy for the recognition,&#8221; Martin said. &#8220;We work hard trying to satisfy our customers. It&#8217;s good to see it&#8217;s paying off.&#8221;</p><style>
