Man accused of abusing children refiles complaint against caseworker

<p>The Luzerne County Transportation Authority won two statewide awards Monday at the Pennsylvania Public Transportation Association spring conference in Lancaster.</p><p>According to a press release from LCTA, the transit company won the System Achievement Award and the Distinguished Service Award for Community Service.</p><p>The System Achievement Award recognized the LCTA&#8217;s &#8220;excellence in implementing the Ecolane software system in the Shared Ride Division.&#8221;</p><p>The Distinguished Service Award for Community Service was given to LCTA in recognition for their work in creating a route to Frances Slocum State Park. According to the press release, LCTA is the only transit authority in the Commonwealth that provides public transportation to a state park.</p><p>Norm Gavlick, LCTA&#8217;s executive director, accepted the awards.</p><p>&#8220;These awards are a testament to the hard work and dedication of every employee of LCTA and demonstrates that LCTA is recognized by our peers as a leader in the transit industry in PA,&#8221; Gavlick said.</p><style>
