LCTA receives two statewide awards

From the top pick all the way down to No. 32, this year&#8217;s NFL Draft is a giant question mark.While many of the position groups are filled with talent, making rounds two through four extremely lucrative, the first round itself could go 100 different ways. Even the consensus top pick Texas A&amp;M defensive end Miles Garrett may not go No. 1. ESPN&#8217;s Adam Schefter reported Wednesday on &#8220;SportsCenter&#8221; that former North Carolina quarterback Mitchell Trubisky could be taken first by the Cleveland Browns.There are top picks with injury concerns and expected first rounders with off-the-field and production concerns, all making for an exciting opening round Thursday night.So much uncertainty!With that being said, the 2017 Flavor of the Week NFL Mock Draft is now open. The Cleveland Browns are on the clock.1. Cleveland Browns &#8212; Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&amp;M: Garrett is easily the best prospect in this year&#8217;s draft. Sure, the Browns need a quarterback, but they can wait.2. San Francisco 49ers &#8212; Jamal Adams, S, LSU: New GM John Lynch is a former safety. San Francisco desperately needs secondary help. Adams is one of the top players in this year&#8217;s draft and is a safe pick.3. Chicago Bears &#8212; Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State: The Bears could go quarterback here, but instead help out their secondary. Chicago finished tied for 29th in interceptions last year. Lattimore will help with that.4. Jacksonville Jaguars &#8212; Jonathan Allen, DT, Alabama: A possible landing spot for LSU running back Leonard Fournette, but the Jaguars go defense instead.5. Tennessee Titans (from Los Angeles Rams) &#8212; Mike Williams, WR, Clemson: With Lattimore off the board already, the Titans take the draft&#8217;s best wide receiver.6. New York Jets &#8212; Malik Hooker, S, Ohio State: The Jets get the ball-hawking defensive back they desperately need.7. Los Angeles Chargers &#8212; Solomon Thomas, DE, Stanford: Thomas drops to the Chargers and they&#8217;ll gladly scoop him up in an effort to fortify new DC Gus Bradley&#8217;s defense.8. Carolina Panthers &#8212; Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU: The Panthers&#8217; run game took a hit once DeAngelo Williams left. Cam Newton gets some relief on the offensive side of the ball.9. Cincinnati Bengals &#8212; Haasan Reddick, ILB, Temple: Reddick is the draft&#8217;s biggest riser. He&#8217;ll be an immediate impact player at the second level.10. Buffalo Bills &#8212; O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama: Tyrod Taylor gets some much needed assistance in the passing game. Howard&#8217;s a future star.11. New Orleans Saints &#8212; Derek Barnett, DE, Tennessee: There&#8217;s no denying Barnett&#8217;s production in the SEC. But can it translate to the NFL?12. Cleveland Browns (from Philadelphia Eagles) &#8212; Mitchell Trubisky, QB, North Carolina: Browns still get their quarterback.13. Arizona Cardinals &#8212; Patrick Mahomes II, QB, Texas Tech: A perfect situation for Mahomes. He has the highest ceiling and won&#8217;t be rushed to play.14. Philadelphia Eagles (from Minnesota Vikings) &#8212; Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford: McCaffrey adds a much-needed boost to Philadelphia&#8217;s offense.15. Indianapolis Colts &#8212; Charles Harris, OLB, Missouri: Colts add to their pass rush, which only accumulated 33 sacks last season.16. Baltimore Ravens &#8212; Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama: The offensive line class is weak this year, but the Ravens need the help.17. Washington Redskins &#8212; Reuben Foster, ILB, Alabama: Redskins get a steal as Foster&#8217;s off-the-field issues drop him out of the top 10.18. Tennessee Titans &#8212; Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama: Humphrey fills a need. A no-brainer after already selecting Williams.19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers &#8212; Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State: This makes too much sense.20. Denver Broncos &#8212; Ryan Ramczyk, OT, Wisconsin: Broncos help solidify a shaky offensive line.21. Detroit Lions &#8212; Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan: Davis provides the offensive threat Detroit&#8217;s been missing since Calvin Johnson retired.22. Miami Dolphins &#8212; Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida: Wilson helps round out the Miami&#8217;s cornerback group. Corners Byron Maxwell and Xavien Howard missed a combined 12 games last season.23. New York Giants &#8212; Garett Bolles, OT, Utah: Eli Manning gets some much-needed protection.24. Oakland Raiders &#8212; Jarrad Davis, ILB, Florida: The Raiders fill their biggest need on defense.25. Houston Texans &#8212; Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson: Bill O&#8217;Brien gets a winner in Watson.26. Seattle Seahawks &#8212; Forrest Lamp, OG, Western Kentucky: The Seahawks&#8217; offensive line let them down last season. This should help.27. Kansas City Chiefs &#8212; Kevin King, CB, Washington: The Chiefs get their No. 2 corner late in the first round.28. Dallas Cowboys &#8212; Tre&#8217;Davious White, CB, LSU: Cowboys replenish their secondary, which took a hit this offseason.29. Green Bay Packers &#8212; Takkarist McKinley, OLB, UCLA: McKinley helps the Packers bolster their defense.30. Pittsburgh Steelers &#8212; John Ross, WR, Washington: A &#8220;best player available&#8221; pick for the Steelers.31. Atlanta Falcons &#8212; David Njoku, TE, Miami: Njoku would be one heck of a weapon to pair with Julio Jones.32. New Orleans Saints (from New England Patriots) &#8212; Gareon Conley, CB, Ohio State: Saints take a risk. Conley was accused of rape earlier this week, costing him to possibly fall out of the first round. High risk, but high reward.<style>
