A pair of late home runs erased the RailRiders&#8217; early lead en route to a 4-3 loss to the Pawtucket Red Sox on Tuesday.The RailRiders (15-14) have lost five straight games at McCoy Stadium going back to last season. The PawSox (15-13) have won six of seven overall.SWB&#8217;s leadoff man, Tyler Wade, opened the game with a single and later scored in the first inning on Ji-Man Choi&#8217;s single up the middle off starter Brian Johnson. An inning later, Cito Culver&#8217;s RBI double and Wade&#8217;s earned an RBI on a fielder&#8217;s choice for a 3-0 lead.That lead stood until the sixth. Heiker Meneses walked to open the frame and two outs later, MLB rehabber Brock Holt connected on a homer to right off starter Brady Lail.An inning later, reliever Giovanny Gallegos walked Jantzen Witte with one out and allowed his own two-run homer, an opposite-way shot to right-center by Matt Dominguez for the 4-3 lead that went final.Johnson (2-0) gave up three runs on 10 hits and two walks over seven frames, but earned the win. Gallegos (0-1) suffered his first blown save and took the loss.
