NANTICOKE &#8212; The Luzerne County Community College Public Safety Training Institute will hold an NRA certified basic pistol and revolver course at the Institute in Nanticoke.The classroom phase of the course will be held 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., June 28. The second-phase will be held 5 to 9 p.m., June 29, at a local shooting range.Charles Hentz, lead instructor of the program and retired lieutenant from the Philadelphia Police Department, will give an introduction to pistol and revolver shooting. The course is offered to anyone interested in learning basic handgun skills and techniques.Cost for the class is $125.
