<p>LARKSVILLE &#8212; A borough man underwent emergency surgery for a stab wound he suffered Saturday after he threatened a woman with a knife, state police in Wyoming said Monday.</p><p>Sean Kurt Langschwager, 48, was charged with simple assault and making terroristic threats after he allegedly pulled the weapon during an alcohol-fueled confrontation with the victim, only to end up stabbed in the arm by her, police said.</p><p>Langschwager and the victim, a 41-year-old female who police did not identify, resumed an earlier argument when Langschwager returned to their East Main Street residence after &#8220;several hours of drinking,&#8221; according to police.</p><p>When Langschwager threatened the victim with the knife, she swung one at him and struck him in the left arm, causing &#8220;substantial bleeding,&#8221; police said.</p><p>Langschwager was arraigned Saturday at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, where he underwent emergency surgery. He was later stabilized, police said.</p><p>He will be jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility following his release, police said.</p><style>
