<p>A lovely very sophisticated woman was on TV the other day, and they were discussing the most important issues between the Democrats and the Republicans.</p><p>She did not hesitate. She proudly announced that a woman&#8217;s right to choose was by far the most important issue to the Democrats.</p><p>What a lovely euphemism. A woman&#8217;s right to choose what? In my entire past, a child was a gift created by God - a blessing, a joy. Although there was all too often judgment on the mother of a child born out-of-wedlock, that rarely caused judgment on the child and never from God.</p><p>We do not like to remember that the choice is whether to allow the child in her womb to continue to mature and be born or be subjected to a cruel and painful death, so it&#8217;s mother is not bothered by an ill-timed pregnancy.</p><p>More than 55 million babies have died in the U.S. alone since Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion.</p><p>Never before in history have so many died for so little reason.</p><p>Many organizations and people stand ready to help any woman, so she need not kill her baby. Most phone books list help. Any computer can connect you with help, and for those who just realized what that right cost them, Rachael&#8217;s Vineyard stands ready to help them learn to love themselves and their baby again.</p><p>The only difference between a child in the womb and a 2-year-old active child is a matter of maturation.
