<p class="x_MsoNormal">SALEM TWP. &#8212; One person was hurt in an explosion at the Western International Gas and Cylinders Inc. plant Wednesday.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">The injured person was sent to a hospital for burns, but is expected to be OK.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">The explosion occurred about 2 p.m. at the plant on River Road, not far off Route 11 and just a few miles from Berwick.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">Western International describes itself as a wholesale supplier of acetylene, which is used for welding and cutting applications.</p><style>
