<p>The F.M. Kirby Center has announced that classic-era West Coast country-rock outfit Poco will perform at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 22 at the downtown Wilkes-Barre theater, 71 Public Square.</p><p>The performance will act as a reunion for the band, still led by co-founder and frontman Rusty Young, with co-founder Jim Messina.</p><p>According to a press release from the venue, &#8220;For more than 50 years, Poco&#8217;s distinctive harmonies and stellar musicianship helped define the sound of country-rock.&#8221;</p><p>Young, the statement said, &#8220;wrote and sang their biggest hits&#8221; and &#8220;Poco remains a dedicated unit of four formidable songwriters, vocalists, arrangers and players.&#8221;</p><p>Messina, throughout his successful 50-year career, has been a key contributor to Buffalo Springfield, Poco and Loggins &amp; Messina.</p><p>Poco is known for such timeless hits as &#8220;Crazy Love,&#8221; &#8220;Call It Love,&#8221; Heart of the Night&#8221; and more.</p><p>Tickets range from $29.50 to $49.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through the Kirby Center box office, online at kirbycenter.org and by phone at 570-826-1100. A pre-sale for Kirby members begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday through the same outlets.</p><style>
