WB Friendly Sons gather to arrange 73rd annual banquet

<p>The Greater Wilkes-Barre Friendly Sons of St. Patrick honored Grand Marshal and longtime member Tom McDonnell by presenting him with the first ticket to the 73rd annual banquet.The event will be held at 6:30 p.m. on March 16 at the Best Western Plus Genetti Hotel and Conference center in Wilkes-Barre. Cocktail hour begins at 5 p.m. The cost is $60 and tickets can be purchased from any member of the society or ticket chairman Mike Ward at 570-417-1160.The guest speaker is former NFL head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles and St. Louis Rams Dick Vermeil.
