Hanover Township Police seek ID of man withdrawing money

<p>KINGSTON &#8212; Police apprehended three wanted men during a traffic stop on Route 11 early Wednesday.</p><p>Police monitoring traffic in the area of Wyoming Avenue and Market Street say they stopped a vehicle when a check on the license plate returned a warrant for its owner, Leo Clarke, at about 12:30 a.m.</p><p>According to criminal complaints:</p><p>Clarke, the driver, was detained because he is wanted by the Monroe County Adult Probation and Parole Department.</p><p>A passenger in the vehicle, Samuel C. Kendricks Jr., 27, was found to be wanted by sheriff departments in Luzerne and Lackawanna counties.</p><p>A second passenger in the vehicle, Neal Phillips, 21, was found to be wanted by Scranton police and Lackawanna County detectives.</p><p>Phillips was carrying a glass pipe with cocaine residue plus brass knuckles.</p><p>A bag containing methamphetamine was found under Kendricks&#8217; seat.</p><p>Clarke, of South Main Street, Old Forge, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.</p><p>Kendricks, of North Washington Avenue, Scranton, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and false identification to law enforcement.</p><p>Phillips, of Putman Street, Scranton, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, false identification and prohibited offensive weapons.</p><p>Clarke, Kendricks and Phillips were arraigned in Luzerne County Central Court and jailed for lack of $10,000 bail each.</p><style>
