Police: Wanted drug suspect found with $70K in ‘high-grade marijuana’

<p>Plymouth Borough Council recently promoted Anthony Gorey to police chief, Officer Michael Thomas to sergeant and hired Officer Jeffrey Lewis as a full-time patrolman.</p><p>Lewis will serve a 180-day probationary period at an hourly rate of $20.77, without benefits.</p><p>Gary Kochinski, council president, said Thomas has been a police officer for the past 10 years and has worked for Plymouth Borough since 2011.</p><p>&#8220;He is a dedicated and outstanding officer,&#8221; Kochinski said.</p><p>Gorey has more than 26 years of experience as a police officer, over 15 of those years with Plymouth Borough.</p><p>&#8220;We appreciate your service to our community and it is an honor for this council and mayor to promote you to Chief of Police,&#8221; Kochinski said.</p><style>
