<p>GLEN LYON &#8212; A dog that authorities say starved to death was found in a cage behind a trailer, and now a Glen Lyon woman is accused of cruelty.</p><p>Brittany Perri, 22, was charged Thursday with two felony counts of aggravated cruelty to animals, plus lesser neglect charges.</p><p>According to an affidavit, an investigation began Feb. 25 after the SPCA received a report of a dead dog in a cage at the Ashley Trailer Park.</p><p>Responding to the home at 117 Donato Drive, SPCA officers found a pit bull dead in the cage, with dirt covering the dog. The dog was visibly emaciated, officers reported.</p><p>Perri had recently moved out of the trailer. She had three prior cruelty charges which mentioned that she had three dogs, one of which matched the description of the deceased dog, according to authorities.</p><p>A necropsy of the dog, performed at Cornell University, showed it weighed only 19.2 pounds.</p><p>The dog had no body fat and its bone marrow had atrophied, which suggested a long period of either decreased food intake or illness, a criminal complaint says.</p><p>Records show Perri&#8217;s bail was set at $5,000. She must pay 10 percent of that, or $500, to go free. She is currently at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of bail.</p><style>
