WRIGHT TWP. &#8212; The misty weather did not stop Treyson Potts from putting on a show on Friday night.Potts helped lead Williamsport to a 49-26 victory over Crestwood in a Wyoming Valley Conference interdivisional game.Despite the final score, the Comets and the Millionaires traded blows in the first half.Crestwood drove down the field slowly for a touchdown on its first possession of the game. The Comets took off nearly seven minutes off the clock after Chase Passman found receiver Ryan Petrosky in the end zone.Potts and Williamsport were unable to get anything going until the final minutes of the first quarter.In the second quarter, the Millionaires continued with their first-quarter momentum.Just two minutes in, the Minnesota-bound Potts dived in for a 2-yard touchdown to get the Millionaires on the board.Later in the second, Potts caught a pass from quarterback Joe Fagnano, blowing past defenders for a 68-yard touchdown.Whatever Williamsport head coach Chuck Crews told his team during the half, it worked. The Millionaires scored at will in the third quarter, scoring four touchdowns while leaving Crestwood off the scoreboard.After the Millionaires recovered a low squib kick that bounced off a Comets player, Fagnano threw a 46-yard strike to wideout Brock Moyer for a touchdown that only took eight seconds off the game clock.Potts rushed for two touchdowns in the third quarter. He finished the day with four total touchdowns, three rushing and one receiving.
