<p>ASHLEY &#8212; A Scranton man was pronounced dead at the scene after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a disabled car along Interstate 81 South just before 5 a.m. Saturday, police report.</p><p>John Joseph Teeple, 40, was thrown from his 2009 Kawasaki, winding up in the left travel lane approximately 34 feet from the initial point of impact with a 2004 Chevrolet Aveo, troopers say.</p><p>Teeple was traveling south on I-81 when his bike went onto the west shoulder of the roadway and hit the Aveo that was disabled and unoccupied.</p><p>He suffered multiple traumatic injuries and was pronounced dead by Luzerne County Deputy Coroner Dan Hughes.</p><p>Hanover Township EMS and fire police, plus Act Towing assisted troopers at the scene.</p><style>
