<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A Wilkes-Barre man surrendered after his vehicle ran out of fuel following separate pursuits with city police and state police in southern Luzerne County early Sunday morning.</p><p>City police said they responded to a residence in the 400 block of South Grant Street on a report Tyler Peznowski, 23, was harassing an ex-girlfriend, Alicia Harris. </p><p>As an officer spoke with Harris, Peznowski drove past Harris&#8217; house at a high rate of speed blowing through a stop sign at Moyallen Street, police said.</p><p>City police pursued Peznowski for several blocks as he traveled south on state Route 309. Police terminated the pursuit after several miles.</p><p>Officers returned to South Grant Street to speak with Harris. She claimed Peznowski was continuously driving around her block to harass her, according to the criminal complaint.</p><p>Peznowski called Harris while she spoke with officers.</p><p>Police said after the phone call, Peznowski was involved with a pursuit with state police and Hazleton police before attempting to return to Wilkes-Barre.</p><p>Peznowski eluded state police and Hazleton police. He later called 911 after his vehicle ran out of fuel, the complaint says.</p><p>Court records say Peznowski was released Sept. 6 after posting $25,000 bail in connection to his arrest by state police on charges he terrorized Harris with a handgun on Aug. 30.</p><p>Harris told state police she was inside a vehicle driven by Peznowski on Pine Run Road in Laurel Run where he stopped and began yelling at her. She claimed Harris pulled out a handgun and banged it off the steering wheel, threatening to kill her, court records say. </p><p>Two women driving past stopped to offer help because they saw Peznowski&#8217;s four-way flashers. Harris accepted a ride by the two women and called 911.</p><p>Peznowski is facing charges of terroristic threats and simple assault in county court for the Aug. 30 incident.</p><p>Peznowski was arraigned Sunday by District Judge Alexandra Kokura Kravitz in Pittston on charges of fleeing or attempting to elude police, reckless endangerment, harassment and careless driving. Court records say Peznowski was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $50,000 bail, but the prison had no record of him on Monday.</p><style>
