Old-Fashioned Holiday Market comes to Wilkes-Barre

<p>HAZLETON &#8212; Police here are stressing that citizens continue to utilize multiple ways to anonymously send tips to help with an ongoing crackdown on drugs and other criminal activity.</p><p>Residents can anonymously give tips to officers at <a href="http://hazletonpolice.com/" target="_blank">www.hazletonpolice.com</a> by clicking on the &#8220;Submit A Tip&#8221; tab at the top of the homepage. Tips submitted via the website are &#8220;immediately and securely transferred directly to the Hazleton Police Department,&#8221; the website states.</p><p>People can also text information anonymously by texting the word &#8220;mytips&#8221; to 274637 (CRIMES). The word &#8220;mytips&#8221; is required for only the initial text, police say.</p><p>Residents are asked to provide as much information as possible when submitting a tip.</p><p>The tip system is monitored 24 hours a day, but it should not be used in place of calling 911 when an emergency arises.</p><style>
