Police: Man urinatedin corner of bookstoreWILKES-BARRE &#8212; City police are seeking information on a man who they say urinated in the corner of a downtown bookstore.Police responded to the downtown location of Barnes &amp; Noble on South Main Street at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.The store&#8217;s manager showed officers a video of a black male who entered the store, heading to the basement section. Police say the man urinated in the corner, then fled.Police provided stills of the man, showing him to be wearing a dark-hooded jacket.Wilkes-Barre Police are asking that anyone with information related to the incident contact them at 570-208-4200.Purse snatcherstrikes on Public SquareWILKES-BARRE &#8212; Police are on the lookout for a man who they say snatched the purse of a woman on Public Square in Wilkes-Barre.The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. Thursday. That&#8217;s when police say an unknown black male grabbed the purse out of the hands of a 55-year-old woman.The suspect fled toward East Market Street, then South Washington Street before witnesses lost sight of him.No injuries were reported.The suspect is described as a young black male with a thin build, approximately 5 feet 6 inches. He was wearing a green jersey with the number 11 in white numerals over a white-hooded sweatshirt.Police ask anyone with information to call them at 570-208-4200.Man steals power tools,flashes taser at storeWILKES-BARRE &#8212; A man allegedly stole several power tools from Home Depot, flashing a taser as he made his escape.Around 5 p.m. Thursday, police say a black male loaded several power tools into his shopping cart at the Spring Street store before fleeing.An employee attempted to stop the man, but the suspect flashed a &#8220;taser type weapon&#8221; and threatened the employee, authorities report.He deposited the tools in a newer model black Nissan Altima and fled.A post by Wilkes-Barre Police did not name Home Depot as the store in question, but it was later determined to be the scene.Police say the suspect had black-and-gray hair and a beard. He was wearing blue jeans, tan boots, a camouflage jacket and a black cap.Tipsters are asked to call city officers at 570-208-4200.<style>
