Psychiatric evaluation sought for suspect in WB Township homicide

<p>WILKES-BARRE TWP. &#8212; There&#8217;s only one more big game left to see at Lucky&#8217;s Sporthouse, as the Wilkes-Barre Township sports bar announced Friday it will be closing its doors after the Super Bowl.</p><p>The announcement was made via a sign inside the bar, announcing it will end its 10-year run after the Super Bowl on Feb. 3.</p><p>According to the sign, the restaurant is being closed to make way for &#8220;another exciting restaurant concept,&#8221; but provides no insight as to what might lie ahead.</p><p>The sign also suggests this isn&#8217;t the end of Lucky&#8217;s in the area; the franchise owner, the Metz Group, is &#8220;actively searching for another location locally for our Lucky&#8217;s restaurant brand.&#8221;</p><p>Any gift cards for Lucky&#8217;s left unused after its closure can be redeemed at a series of locations, including Lucky&#8217;s Craft Food and Drink at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, TGI Friday&#8217;s in Wilkes-Barre or Dickson City, or the Wolfgang Puck Express or Ruth&#8217;s Chris Steak House locations at Mohegan Sun Pocono.</p><p>An employee at the restaurant confirmed that many workers have been offered jobs at the above locations.</p><p>Leading up to the closure, the restaurant will be raffling off the sports memorabilia that decorates the bar. Bidding goes from now until halftime of the Super Bowl, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen in Wilkes-Barre.</p><p>Additionally, one random guest each night until next Sunday will have their check covered by the bar.</p><style>
