<p><strong>Felony gunfire charge </strong><strong>dismissed</strong></p><p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A district judge dismissed most charges against a woman who city police say discharged a firearm during a domestic dispute with her boyfriend last month.</p><p>Dawn Marie Savitski, 34, discharged a .45-caliber handgun during a domestic fight with her boyfriend, Curtis Williams, inside their residence at 184 Carlisle St. on Dec. 28, according to court records.</p><p>Savitski claimed Williams struck her hand, causing the gun to fire a round that passed through a wall and into an occupied residence at 184 1/2 Carlisle St., court records state.</p><p>No injuries were reported.</p><p>After a preliminary hearing in Central Court on Tuesday, District Judge Richard Cronauer dismissed charges of discharge of a firearm into an occupied residence, aggravated assault, simple assault and terroristic threats.</p><p>Cronauer then forwarded a charge of reckless endangerment against Savitski to county court.</p><p><strong>WB man faces trial</strong></p><p><strong>for mart robbery</strong></p><p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A Wilkes-Barre man accused of robbing Paris Mart on Hazle Street earlier this month waived his right to a preliminary hearing in Central Court on Tuesday.</p><p>Daniel Martinez, 44, of Forrest Street, concealed his face with a ski mask when he entered the store and threatened a clerk with a knife Jan. 18, police report.</p><p>Martinez allegedly demanded money and fled the store with an undetermined amount of cash.</p><p>Police arrested Martinez at his residence several hours after the alleged robbery.</p><p>Martinez waived charges of robbery, simple assault and terroristic threats to county court.</p><p><strong>Woman gets probation</strong></p><p><strong>for having drugs </strong><strong>at prison</strong></p><p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A Lebanon County woman pleaded guilty Tuesday to having methamphetamine on state prison property.</p><p>Mallery Lyn Smith, 23, of Newmanstown, was charged after she arrived at the State Correctional Institution at Dallas to visit her jailed boyfriend Aug. 23. A search of her purse revealed methamphetamine, two pipes and two straws in a metal container, according to court records.</p><p>Smith appeared for a preliminary hearing in Central Court where she pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was sentenced to two months on probation.</p><style>
