LCCC Student Government Association holds Hunger Banquet

<p>PITTTSON &#8212; The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick recently held their annual Past President Dinner at the Knights of Columbus Hall.</p><p>The evening honored immediate Past President Joe Long, who enjoyed a great year in which two scholarships were awarded to a Pittston Area student and a Wyoming Area student, The Patrick Norwood Black Shamrock Golf Tournament, first-ever family outing, Halfway to St. Patrick&#8217;s Party, the first-ever St. Patrick&#8217;s Day Women&#8217;s Breakfast and the culminating event, the 104th Annual St. Patrick&#8217;s Day Dinner, were huge successes.</p><p>The Friendly Sons also held their annual elections that evening. The officers for the 2019-2020 year will be President-elect Matthew Meade, first vice president-elect Michael McFarland, second vice president-elect Christopher McFarland, treasurer-elect Shawn Brogan and secretary-elect Errol O&#8217;Brien.</p><p>The 105th Annual St. Patrick&#8217;s Day Dinner will be held on Sunday, March 17, at the Woodlands Inn and Resort. Tickets are available through any member of the club or any Thursday evening at the Pittston Knights of Columbus.</p><p>The second annual Women&#8217;s Breakfast will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 16 at the Msgr. John Bendik Pastoral Center at Seton Catholic Auditorium. Cost of the event is $22 for a buffet-style breakfast.</p><style>
