Police: Stolen firearm, drugs found during arrest of intoxicated fugitive

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A woman who was accused of stabbing another woman in the eye pleaded guilty to two counts against her on Monday.</p><p>Qualuani Anthony, 26, entered a guilty plea on Monday on one felony count of aggravated assault and a misdemeanor count of reckless endangerment of another person. She entered the plea before Luzerne County Judge Michael T. Vough.</p><p>A misdemeanor charge of simple assault was withdrawn by prosecutors in pursuance of a plea deal.</p><p>Anthony was accused of rushing at Kathy Curry on the front porch of a Main Street home in Edwardsville, stabbing her in the right eye on Jan. 5, 2018.</p><p>Curry told police she and her boyfriend, Nathaniel Moore, were on the porch when Anthony showed up screaming. Anthony allegedly smashed a car window and stabbed a tire in her vehicle.</p><p>Anthony then rushed at Curry, stabbing her in the eye with a kitchen knife.</p><p>Moore told police Anthony was his ex-girlfriend. Anthony fled the scene, but she was later located in another Main Street home.</p><p>Vough set Anthony&#8217;s sentencing for May 23. She remains out on $20,000 bail pending her sentencing. </p><style>
