<p>The American Heart Association invites business, healthcare and community leaders from across Northeast Pennsylvania to the 2019 Northeast PA Heart Ball, An Evening in Wonderland, set for Saturday, March 30 at the Room at 900, 900 Rutter Ave., Forty Fort.</p><p>Dave Bohman of WNEP-TV will host the evening&#8217;s festivities, which include a silent and live auction, a heart-healthy dinner, musical entertainment and dancing. The evening&#8217;s Open Your Heart appeal will feature the unique stories of three local individuals affected by heart disease and stroke.</p><p>The Heart Ball is chaired by Dr. Anthony Aquilina, regional president of Geisinger Northeast.</p><p>Funds raised will support the American Heart Association&#8217;s mission to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives through community education, public policy advocacy, healthcare quality improvement and investment in lifesaving research.</p><p>The Heart Ball is sponsored locally by Geisinger, Wells Fargo, Mericle Commercial Real Estate Services, Highmark, Vision Imaging, UPMC Health Plan, Commonwealth Health, UGI, Wilkes University, Allied Services, Prime Med, P.C., Quandel Construction, Medtronic, Pride Mobility, Zoll Lifevest, Stryker, PNC Bank, WNEP-TV, Magic 93, Times Shamrock, Times Leader and Lamar Advertising.</p><p>Tickets are $200.
