<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Four inmates at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility are accused of peddling methamphetamine at the lockup earlier this year.</p><p>Jamie Lynn Brownlie, 36, of White Haven, Joleen Gambardella, 37, of Hazle Township, Aubreana Sophia Hosey, 20, of West Hazleton, and Linzy Chodnicki, 30, of Duryea, were charged after an investigation by the Luzerne County Drug Task Force and detectives.</p><p>They are accused of using meth that was concealed in one of Brownlie&#8217;s body cavities when she was brought to jail.</p><p>According to criminal complaints filed Tuesday:</p><p>Correctional officers Jan. 24 searched Brownlie&#8217;s cell and found suspected narcotics in a jacket. It was also learned Gambardella may have received meth from Brownlie.</p><p>Investigators questioned Gambardella on Jan. 25.</p><p>When Gambardella entered the interview room, she stated, &#8220;(Expletive) these guards, they ain&#8217;t getting (expletive) from me. She also made an unsolicited statement: &#8220;I don&#8217;t have drugs in me but I do have it on me and they ain&#8217;t (expletive) getting it. Go get your (expletive) warrant.&#8221;</p><p>Gambardella continued to talk over investigators, telling them: &#8220;I got high today but I&#8217;m a (expletive) addict, that&#8217;s what I do.&#8221;</p><p>Authorities left to obtain a search warrant. Prior to returning, Gambardella removed suspected meth from a body cavity.</p><p>During a second attempt to interview Gambardella, she claimed she received methamphetamine from Brownlie and admitted to giving several female inmates the drug in exchange for food and clothing.</p><p>Gambardella said she used &#8220;monitors&#8221; to deliver methamphetamine to other inmates but did so in small amounts because she is greedy and kept most of the drug for herself.</p><p>Investigators then interviewed Brownlie, who admitted she brought the methamphetamine into the facility by concealing it in a body cavity when she was jailed.</p><p>Brownlie claimed she gave some to &#8220;monitors&#8221; by slipping it in their pockets to avoid attention with hand-to-hand exchanges. She received shower shoes, sweatpants, sweatshirts and hygiene products for meth, and Gambardella received approximately $150 to $180 of items from inmates in exchange for the drug.</p><p>Hosey and Chodnicki worked at the jail as &#8220;monitors&#8221; who walked around to make sure other inmates were not harming themselves.</p><p>Hosey claimed she knows Brownlie on &#8220;the outside,&#8221; and shortly after Brownlie arrived at the facility, other inmates were getting high on meth.</p><p>Hosey admitted to receiving meth from Brownlie at least three times and giving it to other inmates.</p><p>Chodnicki said Brownlie gave her methamphetamine at least 10 times to be delivered to other inmates.</p><p>Hosey and Chodnicki called it &#8220;dirty meth&#8221; because it was not pure.</p><p>The women have not yet been arraigned.</p><style>
