<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A man who Kingston police identified in 2015 as an associate with the Bloods street gang was sentenced Wednesday for slashing an ex-girlfriend and her boyfriend in Hazleton.</p><p>Luzerne County Judge Michael T. Vough sentenced Darnell Jackson, 29, of North Church Street, Hazleton, to two-to-four years in state prison on two counts of aggravated assault related to slashing Leshia Gray and Nayvi Marte during a fight on North Laurel Street, Hazleton, on Sept. 23, 2018.</p><p>Jackson may end up spending more time in prison dependent upon another judge&#8217;s decision.</p><p>Court records say Jackson is scheduled to appear before Judge Tina Polachek Gartley on May 22 for violating probation in connection to his role in a robbery in Kingston on Sept. 22, 2015.</p><p>In that case, Kingston police arrested Jackson and three others while investigating a botched drug deal that resulted in a woman being shot in the back inside a house on Grove Street.</p><p>At the time, Kingston police identified Jackson as an associate with the Bloods.</p><p>Jackson pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery and was sentenced by Gartley on Dec. 28, 2016, to 14-to-28 months in jail and one-year probation.</p><p>Jackson was on probation when he slashed Gray and Marte.</p><p>Gray suffered a slash wound below her eye that required stitches. Marte required 36 staples to his forearm and 18 staples to his rib cage for slash wounds, court records say.</p><style>
