Colleges Against Cancer Chapter receives Outstanding Service Organization Award

<p>The Saint Jude School community recently celebrated another successful basketball season at the annual basketball banquet held April 29 at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club. Players from the JV and varsity boys and girls basketball teams were honored.</p><p>Special awards were given at the banquet that highlighted the skills of five individual eighth-grade students. Molly Jameson was awarded the Most Improved Player award, a special honor given by Coach Donny Hopkins. Delaney Curley and Katelyn Bozinko were awarded the Kathryn Konopelski award, given to the Most Valuable eighth-grade Lady Nomad in honor of a successful and respected former Lady Nomad.</p><p>Caden Sparich was given the George Overa award, an award given to the boys varsity basketball player who exhibited the most hustle in practice and games during his Varsity years. Anothony Nicotera was awarded the Peter Fiaski Memorial Award, presented to the Most Valuable Player on the boys varsity team. A special thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Bill Curley for their dedication to the Saint Jude Sports Association.</p><style>
