<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A Wyoming County man was arraigned Thursday on charges he sexually assaulted a girl as they drove away in a vehicle from Movies 14 in 2016.</p><p>State police allege DNA taken from the girl&#8217;s underwear led to the charges against Jordan Douglas Ellis, 29, of Laceyville.</p><p>Ellis surrendered with his attorney, Paul Phillip Ackourey, at the office of District Judge Thomas Malloy where he was charged with two counts each of aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault and a single count of corruption of minors.</p><p>Ellis was released on $25,000 unsecured bail.</p><p>According to the criminal complaint:</p><p>A then-12-year-old girl on Aug. 5, 2016, reported to state police she attended a movie at Movies 14 in Wilkes-Barre with friends, including Ellis.</p><p>As they drove away after the movie, the girl claimed Ellis rubbed her leg and reached under her underwear. She grabbed his hand and pushed it away, the complaint says.</p><p>Another girl seated next to Ellis told investigators she saw her friend push Ellis&#8217; hand away and bumping elbows. The friend believed they were messing around until they got home and her friend allegedly told her Ellis inappropriately touched her.</p><p>During the car ride, the girl said Ellis typed two text messages on his cellphone stating, &#8220;Are you made?&#8221; and &#8220;Don&#8217;t tell anyone,&#8221; the complaint says.</p><p>State police obtained DNA from Ellis, his cellphone and the girl&#8217;s underwear.</p><p>Results of the DNA analysis stated Ellis nor any of his paternally related male relatives can be excluded as the contributor of the DNA recovered from the girl&#8217;s underwear, the complaint says.</p><style>
