Central American offered asylum in Guatemala opts for home

<p>WILKES-BARRE TWP. &#8212; Traffic was brought to a standstill on Interstate 81 following a rollover crash this afternoon, with backups spilling onto local roads in the township and Wilkes-Barre city.</p><p>The crash occurred at about 2:55 p.m. in the southbound lanes near mile marker 166.7 in the township, state police said.</p><p>There were multiple patients ejected or entrapped when crews arrived on the scene, troopers said.</p><p>Both lanes of I-81 were shut down, but the northbound lanes were severely backed up as well. The crash caused many trucks and cars to divert onto area roads, with traffic tied up on Wilkes-Barre Township Boulevard (Route 309) as well as on city streets nearby.</p><p>More information will be released as it becomes available, troopers said.</p><style>
