State police: Drunken driver crashed into police cruiser

KINGSTON TWP. &mdash; A 27-year-old man told police he smashed windows at Back Mountain Dental because they &ldquo;kill people,&rdquo; according to court records.
				Daniel James Davis, 27, of Carverton Road, Kingston Township, was arraigned Sunday on charges of criminal mischief and criminal conspiracy alleging he threw landscape rocks causing in excess of $6,826 in damages at two businesses and a vehicle on April 9.
				After Davis was found at a residence in Luzerne, he told police he chose Back Mountain Dental &ldquo;Because they kll people, read up on it,&rdquo; court records say.
				Davis was arraigned by District Judge Joseph Spagnuolo in Plains Township and jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $20,000 bail.
				A second person allegedly involved, Joseph Francis Dixon, 32, of Luzerne, was charged with criminal conspiracy. Dixon allegedly drove Davis to the business.
				Dixon was arraigned Friday by District Judge Brian Tupper in Kingston Township and released on $1,000 unsecured bail.
				According to the criminal complaint:
				An owner of Back Mountain Dental told police she was inside doing paperwork and heard a window break at the rear of the building. When she looked outside, she observed a man throwing landscape rocks at every window.
				Police said the owner managed to obtain the license plate of a Chevrolet Cobalt traced to Dixon&rsquo;s residence on Mill Street in Luzerne, the complaint says.
				Police in the complaint reported five windows were smashed and a 2018 Mercedes Benz owned by the dental owner was damaged. A window at an adjacent business was also damaged.
				Davis was found at Dixon&rsquo;s residence where he told officers he chose the dental business because they kill people, the complaint says.
				Police said surveillance footage showed Davis throwing rocks and Dixon following him in the vehicle.
