Police: Argument about cell phone charger led to shooting

PLYMOUTH TWP. &mdash; A man on state parole after admitting he assisted Hugo Selenski in the killing of two men and burning their bodies in 2003 was arrested during a traffic stop when state police allegedly found packaged bags of marijuana early Friday morning.
				Patrick Raymond Russin, 50, address listed as Easton Avenue, Bethlehem, was stopped when his vehicle drove on the fog line while traveling north on Route 11 at about 12:30 a.m., according to court records.
				During the traffic stop, a trooper detected an odor of marijuana coming from Russin&rsquo;s vehicle, court records say.
				Russin allegedly gave the trooper his driver&rsquo;s license and a medical marijuana card despite being asked for the vehicle registration and insurance forms.
				Another trooper also detected an odor of marijuana and spotted a bulge in Russin&rsquo;s pocket, court records say.
				A trooper requested permission to search the vehicle at which Russin refused.
				Russin was advised there was probable cause to search his vehicle resulting in the alleged discovery of seven large packaged bags of marijuana and one vacuumed sealed bag of money.
				Russin was arraigned by District Judge Joseph Halesey in Hanover Township on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and two traffic citations. He was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $50,000 bail.
				Court records say Russin assisted Selenski in the shotgun killings of two men in a planned to rob them of crack cocaine and money at a residence on Olivet Road in Kingston Township in May 2003. Russin helped with burning their bodies, court records say.
				Russin pleaded guilty to two counts each of third-degree murder, abuse of corpse and robbery and a single count of criminal conspiracy. He testified against Selenski during a trial in May 2006 and was sentenced in December 2011 to 10-to-20 years in prison.
				Selenski was acquitted on one count of criminal homicide and a mistrial was declared on a second count of criminal homicide in the May 2006 shotgun slayings.
