Stanley Lagoss &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Nov. 17, 1992 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Stanley (Blazey) Lagoss, 68, of West Green Street, Nanticoke, died Tuesday
afternoon in Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-BarreBorn in Nanticoke, he was the son of
the late Blazey and Margaret Czech Lagoz. He was an Army veteran of World War
II. He owned and operated Stanley's Bar, Nanticoke, for 40 years. He was an
employee of the Greater Nanticoke Area School District. He was a member of
Holy Trinity Church, Nanticoke, recently retiring as president of its Holy
Name Society. He was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are his wife, the former Thelma Mitchell; daughter, Kathy, at
home; sisters, Mrs. Andrew (Mildred) Chase, Hartford, Conn.; Mrs. Earl (Helen)
Harvey and Mrs. Donald (Dorothy) Cooper, both of Nanticoke; Eleanor Kliniski,
Wilmington, Del.; brother, Alfred, Bristol, Conn. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday from the Stanley S. Stegura
Funeral Home, 614 Hanover St., Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial at
9:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in the parish cemetery. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The rosary will be recited 7:30 p.m. today by the Holy Trinity Holy Name
Society.
