 Mildred E. Thomas, of Chestnut Street, Kingston, died Wednesday in &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Wilkes-Barre General HospitalBorn in Wilkes-Barre, Sept. 25, 1909, she was
the daughter of the late Adalbert and Dora Burnett Dennis. She had resided in
Kingston since 1956. She had been employed in the former Boston Store,
Wilkes-Barre, for many years. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church,
Edwardsville. She was a member and past-president of the Helpers League of the
church, and a member of the Mission Circle. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, David H., in 1979; sisters,
Marjorie Buckingham and Mae Dennis. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Marjorie A. Bird, Dallas; Mrs. Grace T. Ide,
Idetown; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Theodore B.,
Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday from the Jones Funeral Home,
34 Church St., Edwardsville, with the Rev. James Quinn and the Rev. Stanley
Gleason officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday; and from 10 a.m. until time of
services Saturday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the Shrine Hospital,
Philadelphia; or to the Children's Hospital, Philadelphia.
