Andrew Gallia &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Dec. 15, 1993 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Andrew P. Gallia, 83, of Clark Street, Old Forge, died WednesdayA lifelong
resident of Old Forge, he was the son of the late Andrew and Rose Morosini
Gallia. He attended Old Forge public schools. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He worked as a coal miner for Pagnotti Enterprises. Prior to his
retirement, he was employed in the maintenance department of the former Maxsom
Corp., Old Forge. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a member of St. Mary's Church, Old Forge, where he served as an
usher and was a member of the Holy Name Society. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He and his wife, the former Jennie Regni, celebrated their 61st wedding
anniversary on Nov. 19, 1993. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph, in 1980; brothers, Primo, Louis
and Joseph. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving, in addition to his wife, are son, the Rev. Andrew R. Gallia,
pastor of St. Mary's Assumption Church, Jessup, with whom he resided;
daughter, Mrs. Mary Avvisato, Old Forge; six grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; brother, Henry Gallia, Old Forge; sisters, Mrs. Louise
Casella, Old Forge; Mrs. Clelia Nardelli, Louisville, Ky.; several nieces and
nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday from the Victor Ferri Funeral
Home, 522 Fallon St., Old Forge, with funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's
Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Entombment will be in Cathedral Cemetery, Old Forge. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9
p.m. Friday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's
Assumption Church, 516 Third Ave., Jessup 18434.
