 Jan. 14, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Dorothy Thomas, 89, formerly of Forty Fort, died Friday in Crestview North &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Nursing Home, Langhorne, where she was a guest for 2 yearsBorn in Forty
Fort, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Catherine Ransom Steever.
She was a 1925 graduate of the former Wilkes-Barre General Hospital School of
Nursing, and formerly did private duty nursing in Wyoming Valley. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In 1983, after residing on West Pettebone Street in Forty Fort for many
years, she moved to Levittown to reside with her daughter. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a former member of the Forty Fort Republican Women, the Nesbitt
Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and the Forty Fort War Mothers Club. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Morgan P., in January 1965;
daughter, Shirley Bonnice, in 1983. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a daughter, Lois A. Stout, Levittown; sons, Morgan,
Rockville, Md.; James, Harveys Lake; William, Mechanicsburg; 14 grandchildren;
13 great-grandchildren. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday from the Hugh B. Hughes and Son
Inc. Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with the Rev. Dr. William D.
Lewis, pastor of Forty Fort United Methodist Church, officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Pittston Cemetery. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of services Tuesday.
