Helen Tokach &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Jan. 15, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Helen Tokach, of Poplar Street, Plains, died Saturday morning at homeBorn
in Plains Township, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna Petrick
Matis. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a lifelong resident of Plains, and a member of Sacred Heart Slovak
Church, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was also a member of Plains Senior Citizens and the Plains Republican
Women's Club. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was formerly employed by the Frieder Cigar Co., Wilkes-Barre, retiring
many years ago. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, John "Pud" Tokach, in 1982. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a son, John J., Bel Air, Md.; sisters, Anna Vrobel and
Margaret Myslak, both of Wilkes-Barre; brother, George Mattis, Wilkes-Barre;
three grandchildren. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Yeosock Funeral
Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in
Sacred Heart Slovak Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Dallas. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. Monday by the Sacred Heart Slovak
Rosary Society.
