Public asked to call about potholes &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Officials from the state Department of Transportation said they are working
to fill as many potholes as possible on state highwaysAlthough the
department's primary activity will be to keep the roads clear of ice and snow,
crews will fix as many potholes as they can between storms. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Because hot mix asphalt isn't available locally, crews will use the best
"cold patch" material available to fill the holes. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The public can help in the pothole battle by calling their local PennDOT
county maintenance office to report the location of potholes and crews will
respond in a timely manner: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
