LEHMAN TWP. -- Jeffrey Fritzen was elected president for 1995 at a
reorganization meeting of the Lake-Lehman School Board Tuesday night. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Fritzen took over the gavel from outgoing president Joseph "Red" Jones, who
thanked his colleagues and administration officials for their cooperation
during 1994. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; "We made it through contract negotiations, hired a new superintendent and
passed a budget that was reasonable. We thank you for all your hard work,"
Fritzen said to Jones. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 John Presper was elected vice president and Edwin Kern second vice
president. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Committee chairmen and chairwomen will continue in their present positions:
Elizabeth Sichler, athletics and activities; Kern, buildings and grounds;
Presper, education; Thomas Williams, finance; Patricia Gold, transportation;
and Karen Whipple, special services. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The board will continue to conduct its regular meetings the second Tuesday
of each month at 8 p.m., with work sessions preceding at 7 p.m. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Monthly work sessions will be the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Also at the meeting, the board took action on plans to build an addition of
as many as three classrooms to the middle school. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Architect Emil Jarolin of Michael J. Pasonick and Associates presented two
building options: a 3,456-square-foot, two-story building for about $146,895;
or three separate one-story modular buildings totaling 3,984 square feet for
about $170,126. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Jarolin recommended the single building because it would be more economical
and take up less land. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 After a 90-minute discussion, the board agreed to vote at its regular
meeting Dec. 13 on authorizing the architectural firm to proceed with
drawings. The cost of the drawings is estimated at $6,400. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The district plans to finance the addition with a five-year loan. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Middle school Principal Robert Roberts told the board of the need for the
additional classrooms. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 "All anyone has to do is come over to the school to see that the need is
justified. The kids are literally hanging out of windows and doors. This is a
Band-Aid solution -- an expensive Band-Aid -- but as it is now we're not
serving the educational needs of those kids. We're ju
