 New students must bring a copy of their birth certificate, immunization,
social security number and a copy of last year's report card. Registrations
will be taken between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. daily in the principal's office. For

 Pig roast committee meets tonight &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 There will be a meeting of the Dy Duhoski Annual Pig Roast Committee at
7:30 p.m. tonight at the V.F.W., West Main Street, Plymouth. Tom Kennedy,
committee chairman, will preside. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 The Plymouth Rotary Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday to tour the John

 Anthracite Industry &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Jewish Community Center, Scranton, will host a two-day symposium on the
Anthracite Industry, it's demise and it's future, as part of the annual summer
Mini-Hostel program. The event will be held today and Wednesday, Aug. 14 at
the Daleville Campsite. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Today, main speakers will be Professor Thomas Dublin of the History
Department at SUNY Binghamton and Chester Kulesa, curator and director of the
Anthracite Mine Complex. Guest speaker for Aug. 14 will be William Gustaphson,
historian at the Ashland Museum of Anthracite Mining. A panel discussion in
the afternoon will round out the symposium. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Campsite is located on Rt. 502. Cost is $3 for the day, which includes
an exercise period and an opportunity to swim. A hot lunch will also be served
between sessions. Reservations are required for the meal. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 The combined parish community of the Church of St. Joseph and Church of
Mary Immaculate, Wilkes-Barre, will jointly hold its annual summer festival
Thursday through Saturday on the church grounds of St. Joseph, Heights

 Ethnic and American foods will be featured as well as a bake sale, games,
