 Friday at Nesbitt Park &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Join Wilkes-Barre singer/song writer Don Shappelle for a lunch hour of
live, acoustic music. As part of the Riverfront Park's Lunchtime Music in the
Park concert series, Don will give a free performance at Nesbitt Park from
noon to 2 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, August 9. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Listen to the foot-tapping folk &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Don Shappelle music sounds of his original pieces, including many about the
Susquehanna River and the environment, as well as the sounds of artists such
as Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Don will perform on various instruments including 6 and 12-string guitars
and a bottleneck slide guitar. A vendor will be on hand, or pack your own
lunch! &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 Friday, Aug. 9 meeting &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Federation of Senior Citizens Clubs and Organizations (FOSCCO) has
canceled the executive and regular meeting scheduled for Friday, Aug. 9. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The next session will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13 in the community
room of B`nai B`rith Apartments, 61 E. Northampton St., Wilkes-Barre.
Executive officers and board members will convene at 11:30 a.m. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
