 August 9, 1996 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Nellie Helen Pocono, 84, formerly of Luzerne, died Friday at the Summit
Health &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Care Center, Wilkes-BarreBorn in Luzerne, she was a daughter of the late
Frank and Nellie Stuckas Deguses. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She attended the Luzerne schools, and was a member of St. Ann's Church,
Luzerne. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam; a son, Richard. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a son, Frank, Luzerne; five grandchildren; a
great-grandchild. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be held on Monday at the convenience of the family
from the Joseph C. Betz Funeral Home, 568 Bennett St., Luzerne, with a Mass of
Christian Burial at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Ann's Church, Bennett St., Luzerne.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Lehman. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Memorial donations may be made to the charity of donor's choice. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Arrangements are by the William A. Reese Funeral Chapel, rear 56 Gaylord
Ave., Plymouth. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
