 Board of Supervisors selects new member &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Josephine DiGennari is the new member of the Board of Supervisors. She is
the widow of the late John DiGennari, who held that position for nearly four
years before his death July 11DiGennari will fill out her husband's term,
which expires Jan. 1, 1998. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 DiGennari received the appointment at a special meeting Friday afternoon.
Business Manager Savino Bonita said it was John DiGennari's wish in a letter
dated July 10 to the Board of Supervisors that his wife be considered for the
appointment. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The new supervisor will be sworn in next week at a special meeting to be
called by District Justice Diane Malast. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The board is made up of three supervisors: Wally Shandra, roadmaster; John
Paglianite, chairman; and DiGennari, who is expected to be the vice chairman
and treasurer. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 John DiGennari was a retired principal of the Pittston Area School
District. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
