 Several calls to the Say So Line have criticized City Councilman John
Tarone's on a personal levelTarone and his wife Margaret said information from
the callers is untrue. The calls began after John Tarone accused Maurice
Christino, Hazleton's director of public works, of beating John Tarone in City
Hall. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The Tarones said they believe the calls are an attempt to "deflect
attention from the real issue, the assault." &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
