WILKES-BARRE -- Two Plymouth residents have pleaded guilty in Luzerne
County Court of Common Pleas to illegal dumping and violation of the borough's
building code. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 William Baird Jr. and Shirley Baird of Walnut Street each were fined $1,000
by Judge Ann Lokuta. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Petition denied &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 WILKES-BARRE -- A Wilkes-Barre businessman's petition was denied by Judge
Joseph Augello on Tuesday in the Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Kevin R. Mesko, 33, who operated C.W. Mesko Glass Works, North River
Street, Wilkes-Barre, was sentenced to a five- to 10-year jail term in August
1994 for selling marijuana and cocaine. He appealed the ruling after a juror
in the case told the judge she was pressured by other jurors to convict Mesko,
even though she wasn't convinced of his guilt. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Mesko was remanded by Augello to the state Correctional Facility at Camp
Hill. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Mesko was convicted of six counts of possession of a controlled substance,
six counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, four
counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one count of possession of
drug paraphernalia. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 According to police, Mesko sold the drugs from his home on Kulp Street, and
also received payment for some drugs at his business. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
