U.S. industrial production climbs 0.9% in January

LARKSVILLE — Borough police charged a man from West Pittston with molesting a girl for several years.

Gary James Bondurich, 29, of Miller Street, was charged after the girl came forward in October with allegations he molested her from 2011 to 2016, according to court records.

Bondurich was arraigned Wednesday by District Judge David Barilla in Forty Fort on two counts of indecent assault and a single count of corruption of minors. He was released on $10,000 unsecured bail.

Police in court records say they began an investigation in October 2020 when the Luzerne County district attorney’s office referred a report about allegations from a girl claiming Bondurich molested her. She claimed the acts began when she was 7-years-old and ended when she turned 11, court records say.

Police said the girl was questioned by a forensic interviewer at the Luzerne County Child Advocacy Center where she described the alleged acts by Bondurich.

The girl allegedly told two friends who were also questioned at the child advocacy center.
