called in reference to their comments about Joann Curley not being published.
Mine also were not published. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Editor's note: Some calls make accusations about Curley and others
associated with the case that we're trying to allow the judicial system to
decide. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I'm from Wilkes-Barre City, and I was reading the SAYSO line about the
woman who didn't live in Wilkes-Barre and she went to the Skate-A-Rama and was
upset she had to pay $5 and then she commented about the mayor, making a fool
out of himself. Well, I don't think so. If they're so upset about not getting
free skating maybe they should get a skating rink in their town, and have them
pay their taxes for it, and then have people from out of town come over there
and skate for nothing. The mayor's just trying to give something back to the
taxpayers, and I think that's a good way for showing it. If you pay taxes in
Wilkes-Barre, and you want to skate for free, I think it's a great idea. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I just looked at the paper, Jan. 13, and couldn't get over how clear the
pictures were on the front page, and especially on the sports page. The
picture of Reggie White and of the Patriots below is truly a photograph of
quality, and I read that you had just installed a new printing press. Great
job! Keep up the good work. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 About Sunday's article about the mayor and the golf authority. The city
owns and operates two golf courses, Hollenback and Bear Creek. Why is it that
Bear Creek is the one that's always in the news with its problems and
complaints? &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I'm calling to say that Richard A. Burke Sr. of Dallas has a wonderful
article in your newspaper this morning on the editorial page, Jan. 13th. This
is so true. He is so right. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I would like to make two comments. First, Paula Jones has no class. Second,
congratulations on your fine new press. The pictures and print are beautifully
clear, and it's great not to get ink on my fingers. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 To answer the person who thinks senior citizens should have to take a new
driver's license test. I ask, "How many people in this area have been killed
by drunken senior citizen drivers? How many seniors are involved in tragic
accidents?" Age is only a number, not a sign they are less capable or less
caring. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I'm calling regarding the comment that was in The Times Leader on Monday,
Jan. 13th, regarding handicapped parking and the misuse of handicapped license
plates and placards. This woman called in to complain that she had to park at
the end of the mall, because people that apparently did not appear handicapped
to her were taking up handicapped spots. I'd like to remind the woman or man
who called this comment in that teenagers, young men and young women, very
much like myself, also suffer with ailments and diseases that cannot be seen
with the naked eye.... He or she needs to be a little bit more sympathetic to
people.... And I hope for the New Year she could just have a new opinion and
not be so down on the people who genuinely are using the placards as they were
supposed to be used. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Where the hell are you people on the Paula Jones thing? You know I look at
the page one, Jan. 13th, "Woman's groups silent on Jones case." I don't hear
anything from Steve Corbett who just loves women, you know, don't abuse them.
Tom Bigler, Allison, you know. Where the hell are you people on this with this
goof that abused this woman? This is terrible. I know you won't print this,
because as you read your SAYSO there's a lot of things you don't print. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Editor's note: We're trying to get as many comments in as possible, and an
expanded version of SAYSO appears on Sundays. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I would like to see Allison Walzer reread her editorial which appeared in
Sunday's paper and then draw a comparison to Wyoming Valley Health Care
System. It almost parallels it, and yet we hear nothing negative about this
system. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
