Joan Cannon &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 January 17, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Joan M. (McCue) Cannon, 60, of Clarence Drive, Hellertown, died Friday at
the &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain HillBorn April 18, 1936, in Wilmington, Del.,
she was the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Margaret Haas McCue. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She graduated from Conrad High School, Wilmington, and attended Moravian
College, Bethlehem, where she studied music. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 11
years. She also worked at the Jewish Community Center, Allentown. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church where she served as an
organist and choir director for 21 years. She was also active in the Cursillo
Movement of the Episcopal Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Edward T.; daughters, Jane E.
Urello, Allentown; Mrs. Cathleen M. Eck, Oley; The Rev. Cynthia L. Messics,
Bethlehem; a son, David L., Hellertown; and 10 grandchildren. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 A Memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. George's
Episcopal Church, 735 Delaware Ave., Hellertown. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Heintzelman Funeral Home
Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in St. George's Episcopal Church Memorial Garden,
Hellertown. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. George's
Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, 735 Delaware Ave., Hellertown, 18055. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
