Grace Stone &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 February 2, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Grace Stone, 67, of Anderson Street, Wilkes-Barre Township, died Sunday at
the inpatient unit of Hospice Community Care at the Mercy Hospital,
Wilkes-BarreBorn November 9, 1929, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of
the late Walter and Maude Millnamow Mulhern. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She graduated from St. Mary's High School, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Prior to her retirement in 1988, she was employed by Bell Telephone Co.,
Wilkes-Barre, for 40 years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Wilkes-Barre; Telephone Pioneers
of America; and Retired and Senior Volunteers Program. She volunteered at the
Little Flower Manor and Kirby Center for the Performing Arts, both in
Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent A. (Bill) Stone in 1989. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Robert (Patrice) Martin, Round Ridge, N.Y.;
Mrs. Brian (Marion) Chappel, Manhattan Beach, Calif.; a son, William,
Jacksonville, N.C.; a grandson, Douglas Chappel; a sister, Mrs. Charles
(Marie) Mulligan, Levittown; a brother, Walter Mulhern, Westerly, R.I.; and
several nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Nat &amp; Gawlas
Funeral Home, Park Ave. and South St., Wilkes-Barre with a Funeral Mass at 11
a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, Wilkes-Barre. The Rev. Theodore L. Obaza will
officiate. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Bear Creek. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Little Flower
Manor, 200 S. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, 18702, or Hospice Community Care, 385
Wyoming Ave., Kingston, 18704. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
